Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of these terms
UtilsWorld ("the Service", "we", "us", "our") is a collection of free, browser-based utility tools owned and operated by Bitake LLC, a privately held company. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The tools are provided "as is"
All tools run entirely in your web browser and are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that any tool is error-free or that its output is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose. You use the tools, and rely on their output, entirely at your own risk.
3. AI-assisted development and accuracy
The Service — including its tools, code, calculations, text, and content — was created and is maintained with the assistance of artificial-intelligence (AI) development tools, alongside human oversight. As with all software, and particularly where AI-assisted development is involved, the Service may contain errors, inaccuracies, bugs, or unexpected behaviour that testing and review may not detect. By using the Service you acknowledge and agree that:
- the Service and all of its output may contain such errors and are provided "as is", without any warranty of accuracy or correctness, as described in the "as is" section above;
- you are responsible for independently reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it, especially for any financial, health, legal, security, safety, or otherwise important decision;
- to the maximum extent permitted by law, Bitake LLC accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from any error, inaccuracy, defect, or unexpected behaviour in the Service or its output, including any introduced or affected by AI-assisted development, as further set out in the "Limitation of liability" section below.
4. No professional advice
The Service is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on UtilsWorld constitutes financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal, medical, health, or other professional advice, and it must not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. This applies to every tool, including but not limited to the calculators and generators in the finance, health & fitness, science, and security categories. Such tools produce estimates that may rely on simplified assumptions and may be inaccurate or inappropriate for your situation. Always consult a suitably qualified professional before making any financial, health, legal, or other important decision. Bitake LLC is not a financial advisor, broker, accountant, attorney, physician, or licensed professional of any kind, and no professional relationship is created by your use of the Service.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not use the Service:
- for any unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, or malicious purpose, or to facilitate, plan, or carry out any illegal activity;
- to violate the intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person or entity;
- to process, encode, decode, or generate any content that is illegal, or that you are not authorized or permitted to handle;
- to attempt to disrupt, overload, attack, reverse-engineer for harmful ends, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its hosting infrastructure.
You are solely responsible for the data, files, and content you choose to process with the tools, and for ensuring that your use of the Service and its output complies with all laws that apply to you. The cryptographic, security, and generator tools are provided for legitimate, lawful use only.
6. Intellectual property
The Service — including its design, layout, code, text, and the "UtilsWorld" name and branding — is owned by Bitake LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws, except for third-party open-source components, which remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their respective licenses. You may freely use the tools and their output for your own personal and commercial work. You may not copy, frame, resell, or redistribute the Service as a whole, or present it as your own, without our prior written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bitake LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your access to, use of, or inability to use the Service, or your reliance on any tool or its output (including any errors introduced through AI-assisted development), even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Third-party links and components
The Service may reference third-party resources or incorporate open-source libraries. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, policies, or practices of any third party.
9. Changes to the Service and these terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and we may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Bitake LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that jurisdiction.
