Crop a PDF visually: the first page is shown as a live preview, you drag a box over the area you want to keep, and the crop is applied to all pages or just the ones you choose. It's ideal for trimming wide margins before reading on a tablet or e-reader, or cutting one figure out of a page.
The crop is lossless — it sets the PDF's crop box rather than rasterizing the pages, so text stays selectable, vectors stay sharp, and the hidden content is merely masked, not deleted. Because of that, the operation is also fully reversible by resetting the crop box later.
Both the preview and the crop are computed entirely in your browser: your file never leaves your device and nothing is uploaded to any server.
Frequently asked questions
Does cropping delete the content outside the box?
No. It sets the PDF crop box, which tells viewers what to display — the full page content remains in the file underneath and can be restored by resetting the crop box, so don't use it to redact sensitive data.
Will text still be selectable after cropping?
Yes. The pages are not converted to images — the crop is a lossless metadata change, so text, links and vector graphics remain fully intact.
The pages have different sizes — how is the crop applied?
The box you draw on page 1 is applied at the same coordinates on every selected page, which works well for uniformly sized documents; for mixed sizes, crop the differing pages in separate passes.
Is my PDF uploaded for processing?
No. The preview rendering and the crop itself both run locally in your browser, so the document never leaves your device.
