About this tool
Assemble a single DNS zone-file line for A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT or NS records, including TTL and MX priority; the record is generated locally in your browser.
Frequently asked questions
What should the host be?
Use @ for the root domain or a subdomain label such as www or mail. The exact syntax depends on your DNS provider's zone editor.
Why is priority only shown for MX?
MX records require a preference number to order mail servers, so the priority field appears only when the MX type is selected.
