About this tool

The llms.txt standard is a Markdown file at your site root that tells large language models where your most important pages live. This generator assembles a valid one from a few fields, entirely in your browser — nothing is crawled or uploaded.

It writes your site name as the top-level H1 (# Name), your summary as a blockquote (> …), then each link as a Markdown list item. In the links box, every line is "Title | URL | optional description"; a line beginning with "## " starts a new titled section. Each link becomes "- [Title](URL): description", exactly as the spec expects.

Type your details and the file updates live; copy it or download it as llms.txt and place it at https://yoursite.com/llms.txt. Keep the summary tight and group related pages under clear section headings so models can navigate quickly.

Frequently asked questions

What is llms.txt for?
It is a proposed standard that gives AI models a concise, curated map of your site — the key docs and pages — in plain Markdown at /llms.txt.
How do I write a link line?
Use "Title | URL | description", separated by the pipe character. The description is optional. Start a line with "## " to begin a new section.
Where do I put the finished file?
Save it as llms.txt at the root of your domain, e.g. https://example.com/llms.txt, so tools and crawlers can find it.
Does it crawl or fetch my site?
No. It only formats the text you type; there is no network access and nothing leaves your browser.
