About this tool

The Odds Converter is a free, in-browser tool that translates a single betting price between the four ways odds are quoted around the world: Decimal (European), Fractional (UK), American (moneyline), and implied probability. Enter a value in any one format and it instantly shows the other three. The conversions all pass through decimal odds as the common hub: American +A → d = A/100 + 1 and −A → d = 100/|A| + 1; fractional n/m → d = n/m + 1; and a probability p% → d = 100/p.

From decimal odds d the tool derives the rest with the standard formulas: implied probability = 1/d (shown as a percentage), American = (d−1)×100 when d ≥ 2 or −100/(d−1) when d < 2, and the fractional form by reducing (d−1) to a whole-number ratio. So decimal 2.50 is the same price as +150, 3/2, and a 40% implied probability.

Everything is computed locally in your browser — no odds you type are uploaded or stored. This tool performs pure arithmetic only: it is not financial advice, does not handle real money, and does not place bets. Use it to compare prices quoted in different regions or to read the break-even probability baked into a line.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert American odds to decimal?
For a positive line +A, decimal = A/100 + 1, so +150 → 1.50/100 + 1 = 2.50. For a negative line −A, decimal = 100/|A| + 1, so −200 → 100/200 + 1 = 1.50. Enter the American value and all formats appear at once.
What is implied probability?
Implied probability is the break-even win chance baked into a price: p = 1/decimal odds. Decimal 2.50 implies 1/2.50 = 40%. It includes the bookmaker's margin, so the fair probability of the outcome is usually a little lower.
How are decimal odds turned into a fraction?
Fractional odds represent net profit per unit staked, which is decimal − 1. The tool reduces that value to the simplest whole-number ratio, so decimal 2.50 becomes 1.50 = 3/2 and decimal 3.00 becomes 2/1.
Which format should I enter?
Any one of them. Pick the format that matches how the odds were quoted — Decimal, Fractional, American, or an implied probability percentage — type the value, and the converter fills in the equivalent price in every other format.
