About this tool
Pay Raise Calculator is a free, in-browser tool that works out what a raise is really worth. Give it your current salary and the raise as a percentage, a flat amount, or the new target salary, and it returns the new salary, the raise amount, the raise percentage and the new monthly pay.
It also computes the inflation-adjusted real raise: real ≈ (1 + raise%) ÷ (1 + inflation%) − 1. A 5% raise during 3% inflation is only about a 1.9% gain in purchasing power — and a raise below inflation is a real-terms pay cut, which the tool will show as a negative real raise.
Use it before a review or negotiation to translate an offer into concrete monthly money and to sanity-check it against inflation. Everything is calculated locally in your browser; your salary is never uploaded.
