The conversion happens entirely in your browser using the same rendering engine Firefox uses to display PDFs — your file never leaves your device, nothing is uploaded to any server, and there are no page limits or watermarks. Choose a higher resolution when you need crisp output for printing or zooming; 2× is a good default for screens.
PNG is lossless and best for text-heavy pages, diagrams and screenshots; JPEG produces smaller files and suits photo-heavy pages. The renderer draws each page on a white background, so transparent regions come out white just like in print.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Pages are rendered by a JavaScript PDF engine running locally in your browser tab — the file never leaves your device, which also means there are no size caps imposed by a server.
What do the 1×, 2× and 3× options mean?
They multiply the page's native size (72 DPI in PDF terms), so 2× ≈ 144 DPI and 3× ≈ 216 DPI. Higher settings give sharper images but larger files and slower conversion.
Should I pick PNG or JPEG?
PNG is lossless and keeps text and line art perfectly sharp; JPEG is compressed and produces much smaller files for photographic content. When in doubt, use PNG.
How do I get all pages at once?
Leave the page range at its default (all pages) and convert — if more than one page is selected, the images are bundled into a single ZIP file built right in your browser.
