How are hourly and daily figures derived?
Annual pay is divided by your hours per week times weeks per year to get an hourly rate; the daily figure assumes an eight-hour day from your weekly hours.
What should weeks per year be?
Use 52 for every week of the year, or fewer (for example 48) to account for unpaid time off; this changes the hourly and weekly equivalents accordingly.
