Frequently asked questions
Why does L/100km behave differently?
L/100km measures consumption, so it is inversely related to MPG and km/L — a lower L/100km means a more efficient vehicle.
What is the difference between US and UK MPG?
They use different gallons: a US gallon is about 3.785 litres while an imperial UK gallon is about 4.546 litres, so UK MPG numbers run higher.
