CTR Calculator

Free CTR calculator: solve for click-through rate, clicks, or impressions. Percentages instant, in-browser, nothing uploaded.

About this tool

CTR Calculator is a free, in-browser tool for the click-through rate of an ad, email or search listing. Pick whether to solve for CTR, clicks, or impressions; the field being solved is hidden and the other two drive the result. All math runs locally in your browser and nothing is uploaded.

Click-through rate is CTR = clicks ÷ impressions × 100, expressed as a percentage. Rearranged, clicks = CTR ÷ 100 × impressions and impressions = clicks ÷ (CTR ÷ 100). The tool shows the solved value first and echoes the two known figures beside it.

Use it to benchmark creative performance, to estimate the clicks a known impression volume should generate at a target CTR, or to reverse-engineer how many impressions produced a given click count. The rate is shown with a percent suffix and the counts as whole numbers.

Frequently asked questions

What is a click-through rate?
CTR is the share of impressions that result in a click: CTR = clicks ÷ impressions × 100. 450 clicks on 15,000 impressions is a 3% CTR.
Can I work backwards from a target CTR?
Yes. Solve for clicks to get clicks = CTR ÷ 100 × impressions, or solve for impressions to get impressions = clicks ÷ (CTR ÷ 100) — useful for planning how much reach a click goal needs.
Why does it reject zero impressions?
CTR divides clicks by impressions, so impressions must be above zero when solving for CTR, and CTR must be above zero when solving for impressions. Otherwise the tool shows an invalid-input message instead of a divide-by-zero.
Is my data private?
Yes. Clicks and impressions are processed entirely in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
